I got the best comment at the end of this session. ‘This was great, just an excuse to kiss my fiance for an hour!’ So forget any of my reasons to book a couple’s session guys, that’s your reason right there!

I go into every one of these with one main aim, that you go home feeling like you’ve had some real, solid, unplugged time together. The beautiful photos you get are just a bonus. You can add a pre-wedding session to every wedding package and I recommend it for so many reasons, but one standout reason for you is a chance to stop and have a small reminder of why you’re doing this in the madness of wedding planning and prep!

These guys started by warning me that they were going to be a real challenge to photograph, I’ll let you make your own judgement on whether that was true (hint - it definitely wasn’t!) I cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day and capture the next part of their awesome love story.

We met at West Witterings beach on a chilly January day. Witterings is both a stunning location and somewhere special to Rose and Alessandro, which made it perfect. We wrapped up warm and made the most of the most stunning sunset and the beach all to ourselves.

I planned out a route that started us in the shade of the beach huts and slowly took us along the beach, following the sun, until we ended up in the dunes in time for the sun (and moon!) to give us the most beautiful show.

Couple’s sessions are so personal to you and your relationship, so I don’t run them all the same way. These two were ready to capture a range shots from more casual walking photos, to dancing in the sunlight, to some intimate, private photos. I judge my prompts and poses on the vibes I’m getting on the day but you can always request some particular shots are included (or avoided) before we meet.

When the sun was finished, the moon showed up! Our session was technically finished by this point but how could I put the camera down with views like these!? For the photography minded, these would be classed as blue hour shots!
